Sandy you know how I felt at totality. It was so amazing, there was a collective wow at totality. According to reliable resources we, at Yaquina Bay, were the first to experience totality by 10 seconds..
It is magical Roda, this is just July and August. We were at a Chinese Heritage Site at John Day, Oregon for June and will be in Bandon, Oregon for September. I will post some photos from both later. Thank you for visiting.😘💐🦄❤️
Mel, your pictures are beautiful, and that one with the flag at totality is eerily stunning! I’ve been looking forward to this post for weeks now, ever since you so casually mentioned that this was your eclipse plan. You did not disappoint! Love it! ☀️ 😎 🌖
Wow!!!!! Your picture are absolutely stunning Mr. Mel! Thank you so much for sharing!!! And you and your wife are amazing individuals taking time out of your day to volunteer! 💜💜
Thank you Nel. I enjoyed your pictures as well. As for volunteering it is a labor of love. We get to know the areas around our host assignment. This allows us to discover the hidden wonders that only the locals know. Plus, it is 105 at home and 65 here. 👍🌹💐😘
Wow, Mel. What BEAUTIFUL shots of the eclipse at YAQUINA BAY !!! I was too busy looking, I didn’t take any pictures … thanks for these … amazing shots … truly.
Thanks for sharing my friend, jan
Thank you Jan. I went early to check out some spots for photographs. These two were the best I got. I am sure you will agree it truly was a wonderful site. ⚘🌷❤😙
I hear it was cloudless in OR for the eclipse. What a treat. We were in Nashville and ran into some clouds so we jumped in the car and drove north to find a cloudless spot where we were blessed with viewing totality. Awesome, truly awesome. Thanks for sharing these photos.
Amazing!!!…i recall witnessing total eclipse around 18 years ago!! And it’s truly once in life time opportunity!! Did you see diamond ring??
Thanks for sharing the pics!
It was amazing!! I had a visitor to the lighthouse show me his photograph of the diamond ring, it was breathtaking. Happy that you enjoyed the pics, all I had was my phone.⚘
We were in the path of totality. It was like nothing we had ever experienced
before.
It is wonderful that you volunteer as a park host.
