The Hourglass of Life

20160917_174720

The sand of a lifetime at first slipping by slowly, barely noticeable.

As days become years the speed of passing seemingly increases.

Day after day until there are a precious few.

When the last grain drops does living end?

Look at the hourglass,

The sand that is living is still there but it is now at the bottom.

Not one grain has been lost.

Needing only to be turned over to begin again.?
