I grinned when I read this one … you’re right … I smell the roses in my garden … but more often I watch them grow … with a keen eye … looking to see if they are getting enough water and nutrients … I watch to see the buds unfurl from bud to full flower to the fading and curling of the dying rose … then the comes anticipation of the next new bud forming. Sorry … I got carried away with this … because as usual you are SO RIGHT, Mel. I love my garden.
