Control … I have such trouble with control. My personality is as a controlling extrovert. Couple that with 37 years of controlling a classroom and you see why I have control issues. I want to give up control … it’s a life long struggle with me. Thanks for sharing, Mel.
“It is about giving up trying to control the uncontrollable.” Oh, that does seem much easier. Thank you, again, Mel. You help me so much … life is WONDERFUL … but it is also VERY challenging.

Thank you buddy you are really my true friend too, I know that we did not meet as person, but can conclude you are so much kind person and honest not self centered person, hope I am right 😉
With my epilepsy diagnosis 3 1/2 years ago I’ve had to give up working, driving and even thinking clearly sometimes. I’ve lost control and I don’t like it one bit! Frustration isn’t anywhere near what I’ve been feeling. But this post reminds me that I need to step back and try to understand what my new life could be. I’ll never have my old one back, but that doesn’t mean the future is lost. Oh but Mel, I want my control back! I might need to have a reminder like this more often! Hugs sweetie 🤗
Linda, I can’t even imagine how you must feel. I will say that the new you is very talented, your writings have given me, as well as many others, many smiles and chuckles. There is a saying, when one door close another opens, well you have walk through and are in charge. What you where has past but what you are is a marvelous, caring, talented and wonderful individual. I am very happy to have come to know you. Hugs to you my dear.😘❤️😘
You have made me very happy and teary-eyed at the very same time. My Mom always said the same thing about doors and it’s very important for me to remember. Thank you so much for your kind words about my present self. You have no idea how much blogging helps me cope with some of this stuff and you are a big part of that. Hugs right back to you!!!! ❤️ 🤗 😘
indeed.
