  1. I love that picture. I haven’t been to the beach yet this summer … bummer. Compassion … a sweet byproduct of life lessons and experiences both good and bad. I think my compassion level has risen over recent years. It took family sickness to really understand hurt, hopelessness, pain, endurance, hope, and letting go. Thanks, Mel for your always thoughtful thoughts. jan

    1. Jan compassion is the result of life experiences that are less that favorable. These experiences allow us to know first hand, pain, loss and failure. This contributes to the feeling of being compassionate when we see others going the these same tough times.
As for the beach I see it daily from where I volunteer as a park host for the Oregon State Parks. Oh I guess telling you that is not being compassionate is it.

Now your beach and my Grand Strand at Myrtle Beach in SC are not alike AT ALL. But both are spectacular … well … I know mine is … I can only imagine Oregon. All I can say is WOW !!! 1. Sorry this remains a work in progress. WordPress is saying it’s something with my hosting site and my hosting site is saying all is good on their end. Deep breaths at this point. I may end up just changing my hosting site at the end of the day. I’m sorry you’re having such a hard time. Thanks for visiting my blog and liking anyway. I really appreciate your visits.
