      1. Twelve of the most wonderful years of my life I drove a school bus. Much of what I write is from what I gained in those twelve years. There is no greater gift that to watch a kindergarten get on the bus for their the first time and see the growth when they get off the bus at the end of that year. Yes I drove and loved every minute of it. Mr Mel is what my kids called me.

      2. That is so sweet! He used to be a mailman and he loved watching families grow. I think he had one family where he delivered to four generations. He loved that part of his job.
        He’s retired now and a bit bored so he decided to become a substitute teacher/ed tech. The kids call him Mr. Bill.
